Businesses, from startups to enterprises, run their operations and applications on AWS’s multi-tenant infrastructure. We have an immediate opening for a Program Manager to support the Enterprise business in India, focusing on all sectors of the Indian economy.
For the right candidate with the appropriate skill sets, the location of the role can be in Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore. As a Program Manager, you will provide hands-on, full program life cycle expertise through the entire program life cycle. Responsibilities will include driving sales opportunity generation and opportunity closure programs in close collaboration with the sales leadership, partner teams, service line teams, professional services and training teams.
This Program Manager position demands a mix of strategic and transactional capabilities, with a firm understanding of risk management as it applies to program management. This person will have a strong desire and ability to develop and implement tools and automation in program management in order to increase efficiency and sales productivity. You will work closely with the Head of Enterprise segment and the Heads of all the Enterprise sub-segments (Financial Services, IT Services, Telecom, Media, Manufacturing, Greenfield and Global Accounts).
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with high achieving professionals in contract management, sales, finance, legal, bid & capture, operations and other functions to compliantly enable our government customers to utilize AWS cloud service offerings.
This position requires the candidate to have an attention to detail, great follow-through, ability to identify and drive global process improvements, coordinate between sales, operations and legal teams and be a great communicator to both external and internal customers.
Basic Qualifications:
• 15+ years of program management or other comparable experience with large-scale Enterprise programs • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations • Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong analytical and computer skills
Preferred Qualifications: • MBA or advanced college degree preferred • Sales and operational experience • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company would be beneficial.
