On this special occasion on Women’s Day, we can not miss the special mention of the Women Entrepreneurs, sportsperson, in field of education, as the political leader and what not. Women don’t need to prove but they every day inspire everyone by their deeds.

International Women’s Day 2023 Theme

International Women’s Day 2023 theme is “Embrace Equity”, A focus on gender equity needs to be part of every society’s DNA. And it’s critical to understand the difference between Equity and Equality. The aim of the IWD 2023 #EmbraceEquity campaign theme is to get the world talking about ‘Why equal opportunities aren’t enough’.

The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2023 is #EmbraceEquity. Whether it is deliberate or unconscious, the bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead in their careers and even personal lives. Only knowing that bias exists isn’t enough.

Society should prepare an environment that is friendly where they can survive freely. Society should protect the progress of women and first need to break cultural, historic, and socioeconomic barriers so that they can fly high.

History of International Women’s Day

The history of International Women’s Day can be traced back to 1975 when the United Nations officially recognized 8th March to be celebrated as Women’s Day. The first theme was “Celebrating the Past, Planning for the Future.” It was set up with the idea of uplifting women in all sections of society.

This day celebrates the cultural, political, economic, and social achievements of women. It also signifies the achievements of women in every field and how they equally contribute to development and growth. We should encourage women to stand for themselves and no hurdles can stop them from achieving their dreams. This women’s day we celebrate the warriors who were continuously on-field during the tough time of Pandemic and also salute the womanhood of the ladies who are simultaneously completing their duties towards their personal as well as a professional career without failure.
