Guidewire Developer 5-10 Yr Exp – Software Engineer/ Programmer Job Bengaluru / Bangalore, Hong Kong

Note: The candidates will be required to travel to Hong Kong. However, they will start supporting from India until the international flights start operating.

• Develop, implement and later support Guidewire Policy Center Applications 10.x -including configuration/plugin development and support the API Teams

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical IT background and Knowledge of ITIL Service Management Framework

• Strong in Communication and Team Collaboration, with inter-personal communication with other vendor resources or teams

• Strong inter-personal skills, excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills

• Solid experience in managing delivery resources from multiple teams, onshore and offshore, in-house and vendor

• Solid experience in supporting applications in a production environment (Insurance applications a plus)

• Strong solution delivery management skills and experience, and a proven track record of developing, implementing and maintaining systems

• (Preferred) Experience in Guidewire Policy Center for large scale or large companies on cloud

• (Preferred) Experience in Developing and supporting Guidewire products 9 and Above

• J2EE Design Pattern

• Design GW Component Configuration Changes

• Coordinate with Onshore Team in HK and Offshore Teams (India/Manila) for policy Center and other Guidewire Modules including Configuration/Plugin Changes

• Coordinate with Onshore Team in HK and Offshore Teams (India/Manila) for Testing

• Coordinate with Onshore Team in HK and Offshore Teams (India/Manila) for Deployment

• Should be able to work with common guidewire integration and backend DB on Oracle, Document HP Exstream – Document generation, Cloud, DevSecOps and related core teams

• Should be able to work on Agile / Release Train Implementation Model and family with Agile Concepts

• Ensure required Coding Standards are practised across development teams and maintain minimum customisation within Guidewire Policy Center

• Contribute to Continuous improvement for Applications e.g. Improve operation efficiency by automation, suggest new elements for monitoring for preventive maintenance

• Should be interacting with other Guidewire developers from other Vendors who are part of the same Guidewire Program and Manage the Critical Path of Development Team and scope of the Guidewire applications, e.g. file patching, security, performance, data archiving/ extraction

• Coordinate Non-Prod and production deployment activities with related Infra Team
