We are looking for a candidate with strong software engineering background to drive E2E graphics software validation & debug of Intel Graphics drivers. Driving Graphics SW feature health from pre-silicon to post silicon across functionality to critical debug from E2E view. The role involves understanding feature architecture, driving E2E validation usages focused across Concurrency, reliability/Stress through scalable/automated infrastructure. Responsible for providing internal and external feedback to implement upcoming graphics features in yet-to-be-released OSes to ensure our hardware and software will function and perform as expected on next generation platforms as well as designing/developing/implementing graphics system-level software for future platforms. Preferred skills in Linux OS integration and productization (Linux enterprise), experience with One API/One Source implementation. Required minimum knowledge of Open Source environment operations. Develop automation tests, execute tests and open sightings when issues are found Strong capable Python and C/C++ programmer with solid experience driving algorithmic solutions from prototype to implementation including OS/Driver debug skills. Proven experience in handling all aspects of SW debug including OS (Window/Linux), Kernel and device drivers Ability to learn and adapt quickly in ambiguous environments like customer escalations with a keen focus on problem solving. Need to be able to handle tops down system level triage/debug and work well with developers, SW/HW architects to rootcause issues Develop and Enable cutting edge E2E Machine Learning/Deep Learning and Media Workloads on next generation Graphics Platforms Looking for a candidate with positive attitude, disciplined and ability to work in stressful and competitive environment with good written/verbal communication skills
Qualifications
Candidate should possess a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years or in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Your experience should be in the following: a. Ability to communicate with customer in terms of expectations for production quality of SW stack b. Thorough deep understanding of Windows, Linux and/or Android OS architectures b. Deep understanding of graphics hardware and software. c. Deep understanding of industry standard API’s and frameworks such as DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, FFMPEG, G-Streamer, Lib-VA and so on will be required. d. Good understanding of Linux Kmd (i915), Media and Compute stack e. Sound knowledge of software development is critical. C, C++. Python programming expertise and experience is required. f. Strong knowledge of AI and AI at scale g. Data center experience in terms of platforms, scale out and orchestration and E2E solution h. Demonstrated software and silicon debug knowledge Good To Have: i. Virtualization (Software VTd, Hardware: SRIOV) j. Knowledge on Intel GEN architectureInside this Business Group
