The results of the prelims examination for the recruitment of 221 Deputy Section Officers are out on the official website of the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC). A total of 3342 candidates have been declared provisionally qualified for the Mains exam which is slated to be held from 23rd to 25th July 2024.

GPSC DYSO Exam Pattern 2024

The GPSC DYSO Prelims Exam tests the candidates on the various subjects of General Studies. The paper is worth 200 marks and is conducted in 2 hours time. The candidates who reach the Mains stage of the selection process will have to appear for 4 papers which are: Gujarati Language, English Language, General Studies I and General Studies II. The mains exam consists of 4 papers and the syllabus for each of them contains a wide range of topics.
