A travel administrator arranges, manages and coordinates all aspects of business travel to meet the specific needs of employers, employees and clientele within an organization. He or she typically completes most work on-site but may be required to visit certain destinations either before or during scheduled trips to prevent or troubleshoot travel issues that arise. A travel administrator may also need to be ‘on-call’ beyond normal business hours in order to address any needs an employee or client may have in transit.
Key Deliverables:
A Travel Administrator researches and books flights, ground transportation and hotel accommodations, and provides travelers with directions and destination information. Knowledge of relevant flight regulations and required travel documentation are a must.100% accurate bookings upon travel requests, as approved by management
Maintenance of the travel log
Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly reporting on travel costs
Organized by “date booked” and “date travelled”
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain up-to-date records of all key deliverables and special projects
Comply with all current TRT company policy
Wear appropriate business attire
Fully update managers on a weekly basis
Required Skills/Capabilities:
Professional experience in the travel industry needed or preferred
Proficiency in business management and budgeting as well as in travel procedures
Business management skills
Outstanding interpersonal communication.
Understanding of travel policies and regulations
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Microsoft Office Skills – Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
This role will be in a temporary remote / Work-From-Home setup
