The Global Sales Programs Center of Excellence Standards & Strategy team is looking for an Associate responsible for project handling key processes & programs for global regions. The person will join our Global Sales Programs Center of Excellence team, supporting Sales Programs operational units globally, and will be based in Bangalore, India.
Sales Programs is an operational function at Salesforce that works directly with our Sales Teams to ensure they are always targeting the right areas to sell in to. We help to bridge the gap between Sales and Data Science by guiding our Sales Teams to sell smarter and more effectively, using data as a basis for all our decisions. We use our expertise and Business Intelligence tools to ensure our different Products and Regions are always reaching their full potential.
On our team, you will have the opportunity to see first-hand how a Sales Organization in a Fortune 500 company operates. You will be a part of a fast-moving, Global team. This role requires solid project management, business acumen, problem solving, organisation & prioritization skills. You will be expected to support sales success by collaborating across partner groups to innovate, design, scale & manage global repeatable processes & projects, and reporting on success metrics to demonstrate pipeline impact.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insights & analysis into priority gaps in the business, and recommend programs to be built to address the gap
- Participate & represent the team in global priority asks & projects
- Intake new project requests, and prioritize, execute & launch project workstreams
- Analyse and track adoption & establish an ongoing refresh cadence of all relevant content
- Drive partnership between Global Sales Programs COE team and our business partners, to find opportunities for increased optimization and effectiveness in our existing processes and models
- Capture and share knowledge within our team outside our stakeholders
Required Skills/Experience
- 2+ years of work experience, ideally in Program or Project Management, Sales Strategy, Consulting, Sales Programs, or Sales Operations
- Strong data analysis skills to inform prioritized actions to take
- Experience launching & crafting repeatable business processes and/or sales programs, aligned to business priorities. Being responsible for new tools, materials or processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience working in a sales organisation, and collaborating with multiple partner groups
- Bestructuredand organise, passionate about quality (attention to detail) and have a solid sense of ownership on the work accomplished
- Comfort to thrive in an environment where priorities change rapidly and require seamless pivoting to new projects. Get it done attitude to drive results under tough circumstances
- Strong problem solving skills to find creative solutions to roadblocks
- Takes accountability for a project/program despite the project result
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel required, Salesforce.com experience an advantage
