- Design and build end-to-end the engineering backends for the group’s products.
- Develop proofs of concept for new and upcoming strategic technology solutions.
- Promote improved cross team workingpracticeswhile bridging the gap between rapid feature delivery and delivering future facing scalable platforms.
- Help establish technical standards and guide technical engineeringpracticesand methodologies in the software engineering space
- Provide mentoring and coaching to more junior members of the engineering staff.
- Put CI/CD at the heart of delivery and have demonstrable experience in delivering multiple infrastructure updates daily into production.
- Work collaboratively with other teams inside Hosting Services to create reliable and resilient systems.
- Understand, apply, and share testing practices, everything from unit testing and E2E testing to integration testing and A/B testing.
- Participate in team planning and agile practices to support rapid delivery of high-quality software systems.
We are looking for a software craftsman and if you have these skills, we would like to speak to you.
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar technical field.
- Web development experience with ReactJS , VueJS.
- Proven expertise in Python and the Django framework.
- Proven expertise in testing, from unit testing to integration testing Python code.
- Expert knowledge of API development.
- Practicalknowledge of modern software engineering, DevOpspractices including CI/CDand a demonstrated ability to apply them in amission-criticalenvironment.
