Sr. Front-End Developer
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior JavaScript developer for our client. The person selected for this role should be proficient with React.js, NodeJS, and other front-end development stacks. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the UI stack. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
Responsibilities
o Developing new user-facing features using React.js
o Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
o Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
o Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
o Integrating and Implementing Code Quality analysis into your work
o Integrating and Implementing Automated Tests into your work
o Integrating and Implementing Security Analysis into your work
o Integrating and Implementing Build and Deployment automation into your work
Skills
o Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, JavaScript object model and ES6
o Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
o Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
o Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
o Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
o Knowledge of Reactive programming is a plus (RxJs)
o Experience with developing NodeJS application stacks
o Familiarity with RESTful APIs
o Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
o Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
o Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
o Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
o A knack for benchmarking and optimization
o Familiarity with GIT code versioning
