What will you contribute
Reporting to the HM, the FP&A Senior analyst will have responsibility for the consolidation of reporting and analysis of cost across business functions and Group FP&A. In addition this role will also provide support to the Finance business partner teams on any specific people cost analysis/insights as required.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a FP&A Senior analyst will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Owner of consolidated reporting consolidate costs of the various LOBs and provide a consolidated view along with key insights. Current reporting includes, but not limited to, Month-end reporting package, Operating Review presentation, various monthly Corporate templates
  • Owner of the month end cost process request data from LOB analysts, review submissions, consolidate and provide an update to Corporate on a daily / timely basis during month end.
  • Participate and lead, where necessary, in forecast review meetings with individual Finance business partner teams and Corporate FP&A
  • Accountable for ensuring reporting within the financial system is complete and accurate
  • Act as a first point of review by understanding drivers of change vs plan and forecast amongst the various LOBs
  • Champion design and implementation of more robust reporting framework, data modelling in collaboration with business stakeholders and group FP&A team
  • Able to communicate effectively and articulate data points clearly with right insights.

Required Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in finance/accounting
  • MBA or CPA (CA, CMA, or CGA) designation
  • 4 years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Previous experience with a planning and/or consolidation tool
  • Strong excel and data modelling skills
  • Excellent communication skill
