Financial Modeler/Manager
Description
DISYS is seeking a Manager to join its Financial Management service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Oversee project management activities, such as status reports and forecasting.
Maintain good working relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff to perform engagement services.
Advise and share information with project team that may impact or add value to tasks being performed concurrently.
Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.
Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.
Lead the development of enterprise cost models to allocate direct, indirect and overhead cost pools of interoffice charging for products and services.
Lead the development of fee cost models on behalf of service agencies which provide accurate costs of products and services to support rate setting.
Supervise, train and mentor associates throughout the engagement lifecycle and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews.
Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Qualifications
Top Secret Clearance required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience on a similar project or in a related field such as finance, government and/or user fee program.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft suite of products and specialty activity based costing software such as SAS is required.
Experience in cost model architecture, performing data modeling, and providing data analysis is necessary and required.
Candidate(s) shall be capable of conducting research.
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
