Department Overview

Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company, maintains, and enhances risk and financial controls. The Controller’s Division is responsible for the accuracy of the Company’s financial statements, establishing corporate accounting policies, preparing SEC and regulatory reports and ensuring the adequacy of internal controls.
About the Role

Reporting into the India Senior Finance Technology Lead, the India Technology Function Local Finance Manager will be a key member of the Local India Technology Finance team.This role, at a Vice President level, will manage a variety of technology financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and financial analysis with a strong focus on a mired of Technology related costs. The role involves partnering and supporting the India and US Regional teams providing cost transparency to assist with achieving strategic and operational financial goals. Some of the key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities

  • Partner with technology finance and functional stakeholders globally and in India to contribute towards meeting the overall technology and technology finance goals and objectives
  • Manage and provide analysis of key business drivers, trends and performance indicators to provide value-added inputs to help decision making in executing strategy
  • Manage the preparation of Technology Functions budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Manage and provide project portfolio governance, including project management, business case development, project investment/cost tracking, risk management and reporting.
  • Manage and direct team in all reporting and analytical activities; analyze financial data and participate in preparing and presenting financial analysis to Technology Functional leaders
  • Manage and provide insight of Technology Functions budgeting and forecasting process
  • Manage monthly close process by analyzing and reconciling expense activity; formulate monthly accruals/journal entries, utilizing various internal and vendor provided financial applications to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage Capital Budgeting/Forecasting including Fixed Assets and Balance Sheet reviews
  • Manage CCAR/DFAST modeling and stress testing evaluations, SEC and FRB regulatory reporting.
  • Track and analyze Direct and Indirect Cost Allocations
  • Manage and provide guidance on vendor that track and analyze vendor expenses to ensure costs are accurately captured and forecasted.
  • Mange and liaise with Supply Chain on Procure-to-pay Governance Processes.
  • Manage and deliver vendor spend analytics and metrics to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Manage General ledger Maintenance support processes (Open/Closer of Accounts, fields, organization hierarchies etc.)
  • Manage SLA’s and measure them against metrics for continuous improvements and efficiencies
  • Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Comprehensive Capital Analysis Review (CCAR)

Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience, out of which 7+ years of experience managing a technology finance team in India
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, or Economics; MBA Finance or higher qualifications
  • 7+ Management experience in a large corporate, multi-line business organization
  • 7+ years of risk management, risk mitigation experience and compliance (GRC) concepts
  • Project and Portfolio management skills (Agile, PLC, SDLC)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Beeline etc.)

Desired Qualifications

  • Deep FP&A Experience working in Financial Services supporting Technology Finance or other relevant field
  • Deep analytical and modeling capabilities and project cost tracking skills
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
