Department Overview
Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company, maintains, and enhances risk and financial controls. The Controller’s Division is responsible for the accuracy of the Company’s financial statements, establishing corporate accounting policies, preparing SEC and regulatory reports and ensuring the adequacy of internal controls.
About the Role
This Individual contributor role is responsible for posting Monthly metrics reporting, Monthly business review decks, internal financial management reporting and analysis to support the enterprise, business units, and functional areas and provide meaningful insights into the underlying drivers impacting results. Responsibilities
- Provide support and preparation of Technology Functions budgeting and forecasting process
- Provide reporting and analytical activities analyze financial data and participate in preparing and presenting financial analysis to Technology Functional leaders
- Partner with technology finance and functional stakeholders globally and in India to contribute towards meeting the overall technology and technology finance goals and objectives.
- Provide monthly flash reporting across all Technology Functions
- Provide financial cost reports highlighting actual vs. forecast/budget variances with commentary in order to highlight risk and opportunities and drive cost efficiency
- Conduct analysis of key business drivers, trends and performance indicators to provide value-added inputs to help decision making in executing strategy
- Provide Workforce Analytics and Reporting Including Monthly Actuals vs Plan and Forecasting by Function
- Participate in monthly close process by analyzing and reconciling expense activity formulate monthly accruals/journal entries, utilizing various internal and vendor provided financial applications to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
- Participate in Capital budgeting/forecasting and Fixed Asset and Balance Sheet reviews
- Responsible for CCAR/DFAST modeling and stress testing evaluations, SEC and FRB regulatory reporting.
- Provide General Ledger Maintenance Support
- Track and analyze Direct and Indirect Cost Allocations
- Liaise with Procurement and Accounts Payable on vendor contracts timelines Create spend analytics that track and analyze vendor expenses to ensure costs are accurately captured and forecasted
- Deep analytical capabilities and project cost tracking skills/ Knowledge of Project based billing
- Track and analyze direct and indirect cost allocations. Detailed analysis around software capitalization, amortization, depreciation, fixed asset and inventory planning
- Knowledge of software/Hardware product services, vendor products, Infrastructure cost, storage data centers, vendor contracts, Telecommunication charges and allocations.
- Project portfolio management- Creation of cost case
- Understanding of Finance application (Apptio) & database management system
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), organizational skills, and experience articulating issues, risks, and proposed solutions to management
- Ability liaise and collaborate amongst various teams and build successful relationships in both finance and technology business settings
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics CA/CFA/MBA a plus
- 6-10+ Management experience in a large corporate, multi-line business organization
- 3-5 years of relevant FP&A experience at a tech company or tech finance team
- Project and Portfolio management skills (Agile, PLC, SDLC)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Beeline etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to operate with SLA’s and measure them against metrics for continuous improvements Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Int’l Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Deep analytical and modeling capabilities and project cost tracking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
