Purpose of the job:
• Responsible for proper Accounting and audit closure – statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit. Review and establish internal control processes.
• Timely submission – monthly, quarterly and annual P&L and Balance Sheet to CFO after GL scrutiny and review.
• Drive annual budget process, monitoring and control working capital.
• Provide leadership to company’s procurement function.
• Provide Cross functional leadership to business – Sales and Marketing, Operations and other teams,
Main activities: describe the main activities and responsibilities which make the most direct contribution towards the fulfilment of the purpose of the position
1. Develop and manage all financial control and processes, in line with the business strategy, plans and processes, while ensuring adequate financial controls, discipline, and statutory compliance.
2. Provide leadership and coordination in budgeting, MIS, finalization of accounts, project finance, working capital management efforts.
3. Interact with auditors to ensure timely audit closure and tax auditors for completing tax audit process
4. Interact with tax consultant and ensure compliance to all statutory regulations / requirements
5. Drive cost saving initiatives and ensure all legitimate benefits under the tax regime are availed of promptly without losing the time.
6. Demonstrate cross functional leadership to excel as Finance Business Partner while driving annual budget process, review of receivables and inventory and interacting with cross functional leaders.
7. Establish and evaluate internal controls and direct deploy of Delegation of Authority (DoA) in all transactions and monitor adherence to the internal control guidelines and DoA through suitable tracking mechanisms and report deviations to top management.
8. Conduct Internal audit at Bangalore and Noida of various functions to streamline processes and establish strict financial controls
9. Ensure smooth functioning of Procurement function, bring professional approach to the function and implement best purchase practices.
Knowledge:
Profile (required education and professional experience):
 Chartered Accountant or Semi-qualified with sound knowledge of business model and operations, sound technical knowledge, experience in handling large teams
 Domain expertise in Accounting, Banking, Taxation, Receivables and financial reporting.
 Ability to track and control high volume business transactions for accurate accounting and business analysis.
 Ability to drive annual budgets and cost saving projects
 Relationship management with teams in other offices and demonstrate cross functional leadership with other functions in the organizations to drive results.
 Sound knowledge of Tally and ability to guide the team and drive KPIs.
 Strong can-do attitude to drive Receivable function and team.
Management (Emerge as Finance Business Partner, Managing team of 2 members with Graduate qualification, good domain knowledge
