Department Overview
Supply Chain Management team within the Shared Services department is primarily responsible for contract negotiation, procurement of goods and services, processing of invoices, Third Party Risk Management, Transaction and Use Tax Processing , Supplier Enablement & Self Assurance activities.
About the Role
Finance and Accounting AnalystRole will focus on ensuring compliance with all appropriate tax jurisdictions, advising business partners on tax implications, and validating all sales and use tax legislative changes are incorporated into processes to ensure compliance Below are the detailed responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible to review AP transactions for US transaction tax compliance, validating use tax accruals and reversals, providing guidance to LOB on US transaction tax and validating US sales/use tax legislation to ensure compliance necessary to complete regulatory filings
• Team members must develop expert knowledge of sales/use tax legislation for 45 US states and over 300 local jurisdictions
• Accurately complete regulatory filings (sales/use tax returns).
• Minimize the significant risk of tax, interest and penalty assessments imposed by tax jurisdictions

Essential Qualifications
- Any Degree
- 3-5 years of overall experience , 2-3 years of Accounting/ accounts payable experience / Procurement Experience (DQO0000059)
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) skills
- Experience in conducting research of US multi-state sales/use tax legislation
- Experience with Vertex O sales/use tax software
- Strong problem solving skills
