ESIC Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria mentioned below. Candidates must satisfy and understand the educational qualification before applying for the posts.
Nationality
A candidate willing to apply online for ESIC Recruitment must be one of the following as per the ESIC Recruitment Notification PDF:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 01st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

ESIC Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification
For ESIC UDC (Upper Division Clerk)
- The candidate should hold a degree from a recognised University or equivalent.
- Candidate should have a working knowledge of computers including the use of Office suites and databases.
For ESIC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff)
- The candidates must Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized university & board.
For ESIC Stenographer Posts
- The candidates should be 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Skill Test Norms For Steno posts only:
- Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
- Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) (Only on the computer)
