As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for setting technical vision for the Contact Platform and help build it from ground up. You will work across projects with multiple teams, as well as help with QA, coding standards and deployment, testing efforts, cut over activities, and sustainment for multiple projects. Basic Qualifications :
. 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
. Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
. 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Preferred Qualifications :
. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
. Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and problem solving
. 4+ years of professional software development experience
. Proven experience developing solutions at scale.
. Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
. Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces (JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue) through to back-end systems (NodeJS or Java)
. Experience in one or more development languages including Node.js, Python, Java.
. Experience developing solutions using AWS services
. Demonstrated capability to provide depth and breadth technical leadership to agile teams
. Experience mentoring junior engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective
. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team . Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive
