Main task:
Designs complex manufacturing equipment using defined standard technologies and components.
Analyzes product specifications and clarifies product requirements and manufacturing aspects with accountable R&D, Engineering and/or Product Management.
Develops concepts for manufacturing equipment and thinks of alternatives.
Calculates cost of manufacturing equipment and works outs most productivity solution.
Is responsible for the cost of the designed equipment and the scheduled delivery date.
Systematic development of equipment design based on existing rules and standards.
Plans the implementation process for new production sequences, in cooperation with locally assigned Industrial Engineering.
May accompanies or contributes to testing and approval of pre-series results, and cooperates with external providers in settling any issues.
Plans and is responsible for the ramp up of equipment to achieve output and quality as planned. Competence & Knowledge Required:
CAD (AutoCAD, Inventor, NX, Solid Edge , Creo) – 2D&3D.
CE-Marking and design standards .
Continuous improvement methodology.
Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving.
Efficient working methods.
English.
Design and manufacturing standards and requirements.
Assembly concept and systems.
Development of manufacturing concepts and systems.
Development of equipment, mechanical parts.
Problem solving methods. Education:
BE/Diploma – Mechanical
Experience required – 4 – 6 years
