Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to support the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of information security tools and services. This includes translating business and technical requirements into robust enterprise security software solutions that ensure information assets are adequately protected with acceptable levels of control. This also includes monitoring, testing, and evaluating security assessments of systems and taking steps to help design and implement remediation solutions.
To be successful, the individual in this role must know security practices and tools related to identity and access management and enterprise digital certificate management systems. This role helps establish and maintain programs that enable the business to operate efficiently and remain in compliance with regulatory and industry best practices.

  • Software Engineering: Develops software and tools for a range of different applications, including design, infrastructure and technology platforms, operating systems, application software, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based, and Internet-related tools. 3+ years of Sailpoint and java experience.
  • Translates business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions with guidance from senior colleagues as appropriate by partnering with Business Analysts to understand business needs and functional specifications
  • Develops, configures, or modifies integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments by designing and coding component-based applications using various programming languages
  • Facilitates the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications by packaging solutions for deployment
  • Supports systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) by providing insight to testing teams to ensure the appropriate depth of test coverage
  • Participates and coaches others in all software development lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of the company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls
  • Collaborates with IT teams (e.g., Operations, Infrastructure, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts) and key business partners to troubleshoot applications

Qualifications
. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent work or military experience in a related field)
. 2 years of experience in technology system support, software development, or a related field
. 1 year of experience with information security applications and systems
. 1 year of experience in database technologies
. 1 year of experience working on the project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
. 2 years of experience analyzing the output of industry-standard cybersecurity tools and identifying remediations to reduce risk and exposure of applications
. Master’s Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
. Relevant information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, PCI ISA, CRISC, CISA, OSCP, GPen)
. Advanced understanding of information security practices and policies
. 2 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization
. 4 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software
. 4 years of experience with technical documentation in a software development environment
. 2 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
. 2 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
. Experience with Cloud technologies
