Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform Document Checking for Letter of Credit Documents – Import/Export as per ICC regulations – UCP, ISBP/Bank Policy & Procedure
2. Ensure all document checking transactions are completed within timelines and with a high degree of accuracY
3. Ensure no operational losses happen due to document checking errors or lapse in non-adherence to the laid down controls.
4. Escalate promptly any irregularities / incident that may lead to risk or financial loss.
5. Ensure compliance with policy, procedures, standards and reporting requirements, plus any relevant country regulatory and statutory requirements
6. Ensure staff reporting meets service standards as per Service Level Agreements or cut-off times mentioned in operating procedures.
7. Complete all training assigend for self and Participate in training for newer or more junior team member on technical and product knowledge.
8. Maintain awareness of the department’s Business Continuity Plan and undertake appropriate training to ensure correct action is taken in the event of an incident or disruption
9 Perform any other duties or tasks as required or instructed by the line manager to support the smooth operation of the department.
