Job Title: Director, Enterprise Architecture
Job Location: Boca Raton, FL
Job Duration: 6 months
Job Overview: The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and management of the Department’s Toll Collection System Enterprise System Architecture. The primary role of the Enterprise Architect is to ensure that the respective business, application, data, and technology perspectives are in line with the organization’s technology and governance strategies, policies, and standards. The Enterprise Architect analyzes technology industry and market trends and determines potential impacts to our current Architectures leading the oversight in the development and update of the technological architecture mid and long term strategy. The Enterprise Architect leads the development of enterprise architecture governance structure based on business and IT strategies. Leads and oversees with policy guidance from the Department’s TDC Director, enterprise architecture implementation and ongoing refinement activities.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conducts and/or actively participates in meetings related to the designated projects to ensure the projects fit within the overall Department Enterprise Architecture.
2. Advises and recommends enterprise architecture strategies, processes, and methodologies.
3. Recommends and participates in the design and implementation of standards, tools, and methodologies.
4. Shares best practices, lessons learned and constantly updates the technical architecture based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current, and upcoming vendor products and solutions.
5. Participates in the design and implementation of IT service management standards, tools, and processes to ensure the enterprise architecture strategy fits within Department change management processes.
6. Oversees enterprise architecture implementation and ongoing refinement activities.
7. Acts as consultant business leader in the development of IT solutions for business needs.
8. Adheres, participates and contributes to the change management process established by the department to ensure proper oversight on proposed changes and updates of current architecture
9. Leads the definition and update of the tolling system technology architecture strategy to ensure proper adaptability to new technology, capturing business and cost related efficiencies.
Job Requirements:
1. 5 years’ recent experience in large (>$500M) transaction and financial processing systems
2. 5 years’ experience with systems architecture, IT design and security management
3. 5 years’ experience in IT service management
4. Knowledgeable with PCI and SOC Type 2 operations audits, desired audit experience.
5. Experience working in matrix and multi-discipline teams in large complex transactional and e- commerce systems.
