Position: DevOps Support Engineer
Experience: 2+ years in IT, 1+ years in Azure support
Shift Timings – Rotational/Night (Has to be Flexible in working hours)
Role & Responsibility:
The person should be responsible for co-ordination between DevOps Core team, Support team and Product Development team. He / She should track DevOps task, do follow-up and provide basic support on technical front.
Skill:
· Strong knowledge of application development processes, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
· Strong communication and personal skills, both written, verbal.
· Has worked in support project and manage task and delivery
· Strong in documentation, support manual etc.
· Good to have Azure Cloud Services knowledge
· Knowledge of Windows Azure Platform, Operating System (Windows & Linux), Virtualization, Networking experience
· Knowledge of DevOps best practices and approach together with implementation.
· Knowledge of networking engineering, including DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
· Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-on, always-available service model for e.g. Azure Site recovery, Backup, Monitoring & Maintenance.
· Maintain and provide support for all IT infrastructure Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support and troubleshooting
· Strong communication and personal skills, both written, verbal.
