Job Description:

This position is responsible for leading DevOps team – CI/CD Infrastructure tools, Software Release management, Automation and Quality of Fujitsu Virtuora Network Controller – SDN controller product for Optical transport network for L0/L1 layers providing end-to-end service provisioning, orchestration and network programmability.
Responsibilities include Release management, on time delivery of software to customers, dot releases and patch management.
Candidates for this job should have very strong DevOps expertise – CI/CD infrastructure and tools experience, technically lead the team, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and should be able to handle pressure and need to be flexible based on the needs of software release shipment to the customers.
Skill-sets and responsibilities:

  • 12-18 years’ experience in CI/CD infrastructure implementation
  • Architected development of automated CI/CD pipelines for NMS/EMS products
  • Expertise in Version control Systems and tools Git, Gerrit and Sonarqube
  • Operate and Monitor the jobs in Jenkins – Build, Test and Deploy
  • CI/CD tools and scripts – Jenkins and Groovy Pipeline
  • Build automation tool – Apache Maven
  • Expertise in Python, Shell scripting and ReST API development
  • Expertise in Automation Framework – Robot Framework
  • Expertise in SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Experience in JIRA and Confluence tools
  • Experience in OSGI karaf CLI
  • Experience in Linux commands
  • Experience in creation of VM using VMware vSphere client
  • End to End Product release management ownership
  • Knowledge of basic Java, NMS/EMS, Networking and SDN
  • Good to have knowledge of HTML, Java Script, JSON and XML
  • Good to have knowledge of Ansible and Docker containers
  • Have demonstrated good technical leadership and have led the teams successfully
  • Have worked in a product company
  • Good customer interaction and communication skills
  • Exposure to sound software engineering practices/Agile
