Job Title: UI Developer
Location: Cambridge, MA 02138
Job Type: 6+ Months Contract (possible Extension)
Description:
· Works in an Agile environment.
· Build, test and deploy new or enhanced technologies.
· Develops and enhances solutions including screens, interfaces, web services, conversion scripts, and other components.
· Troubleshoot production issues. Collaborates with product owners, business analysts, developers, and the project team members to identify, develop, document, and deliver products.
· Prototypes concepts to assist with feasibility analysis.
Additional Job Details:
· BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
· 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and ES6+ features.
· 1+ years of experience with modern SPA frameworks/libraries, specifically React, but also Angular, Vue.
· 1+ years of experience with an interactive data visualization JS libraries, specifically D3.
· Strong experience with foundational web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, SVG.
· Experience with Node, JS package managers (npm, Yarn), and essential JS build/test tools such as Webpack, Babel, and Jest.
· Strong understanding of REST and HTTPS.
Additional Qualifications
· Experience working with visualization of survey data
· Experience working with large scale cloud based data reporting and analytics
· Understanding of development, accessibility, and user experience standards and best practices
· Comfort with learning new technologies quickly and efficiently
· Excellent communication skills
