Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial), Changes in Typing Test

The Staff Selection Commission has made some changes in the Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) Typing Test. The Staff Selection Commission published the notification for Delhi Police Head Constable 2022 on the official website on 17th May 2022 @ssc.nic.in. The Delhi Police Head Constable 2022 exam was conducted from 10th October to 20th October 2022. The changes done in the typing test are mentioned below.

The Typing Test shall be of 10 minutes duration. The minimum qualifying speed shall be 30 w.p.m. in English and 25 w.p.m. in Hindi. Candidates will be provided with a printed passage containing a minimum of 400 words or 2000 strokes in English or 350 words or 1750 strokes in Hindi. No candidate shall be allowed/to continue to type the passage after the duration of 10 minutes gets over.

A maximum of 25 marks has been allotted for the Typing Test and marking shall be done as under:

Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment 2022: Selection Process

The selection will be done as follows:

  1. Computer-Based Examination: 100 Marks
  2. Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests(PE&MT): Qualifying in Nature
  3. Typing Test on Computer by Delhi police (English- 30 wpm or Hindi- 25 wpm)- 25 Marks
  4. Computer (Formatting) Test by Delhi Police- Qualifying
  5. Document Verification
