* 9 years or more of extensive knowledge and experience
* Build the Big Data Environment and Support the solution infrastructure
* Good interpersonal and written skills
* Ensures customer service solutions are aligned to the operational business plan
* Solid working knowledge of Linux
* Ensures continuous process improvement to enable effective operational processes
* Experience with Red Hat Enterprise, Linux (RHEL), SUSE Linux Enterprise, Server (SLES) and the Community, Enterprise Operating System (CentOS)
* Conducts research on architectural systems
* Ability to work in a team environment under limited supervision
* Provides specialist advice and knowledge sharing
* Strong understanding of Hadoop ecosystem such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Yarn
* Solutions design and delivery – Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ or other Enterprise messaging solutions
* Contributes to business analysis processes
* Java scripting and application support experience
* Promotes teamwork amongst peers and team members
* Working experience in at least one automation scripting language such as Puppet/Chef
* 5-10 years experience with Unix management, complex computing platforms, and cutting-edge technologies involving virtualization, distribution, and high performance computing
