The Role Responsibilities
Core Deliverables

  • Lead Agile scrums while driving adoption and alignment with Agile Project delivery frameworks available in the Bank
  • Manage project reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Define the implementation roadmap for each project %26ndash; scope, detailed work plan, resource plan
  • Ensure that comprehensive project documentation is created and maintained and that appropriate governance and oversight is demonstrated during the documentation phase
  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
  • Establish a communication strategy to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
  • Work with the Finance Data Program team to provide regular status reports on progress against milestones, RAG statuses, Key Issues and RAID Management
  • Deliver the Finance Reference Data initiative on time within budget and as per agreed scope
  • Ensure delivery of the benefits as per the project execution document

Key responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. .
  • Ensure robust and transparent project controls
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Measure project performance using appropriate metrics and techniques
  • Stakeholders management %26ndash; communication, issue remediation, risk management
  • Work closely with formal and informal project sponsors to identify %26amp; remove roadblocks in a timely manner

Organisational Engagement

  • Constructively challenge and present viable alternatives to business models, operational processes and the interpretation of relevant rules and regulations whilst continually looking to minimise regulatory risk and the ongoing cost of finance operations
  • Facilitate the defining and agreeing of solutions to drive effectiveness and efficiency with representatives from key Business and Technology stakeholders

People

  • Provide guidance and support to Reference Data India project teams to support both delivery and career development
  • Provide a clear path for upskilling and training of India Project team resources to build a sustainable and high effective team with Finance reference data expertise
  • Build strong, effective relationships with the various partners in Change, Data management, Finance reporting, Treasury and Technology encouraging collaboration, transparency and trust

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Strong track record delivering, through Agile and Waterfall delivery framework, data and/or Product Control/ Finance/Regulatory change with a good financial background
  • Strong exposure to compliance and regulatory requirements for data used in financial services at national and supra national level (incl. IFRS, BCBS%26hellip;etc.)
  • Over 10 years in Project Management including experience in an Investment Banking environment on large scale change projects
  • Good expertise on organisational design and process implementation to support regulatory driven financial reporting
  • Experience with vendor application SAP Master Data Governance
  • Exposure to data querying languages and tools (for ex. SQL/PLSQL/Hibernate SQL)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills partnering simultaneously at senior and operational levels in a multicultural environment
  • Self-starter with strong drive
