We are a core team, responsible for Enterprise Architecture with the goal to accelerate Digital Transformation of VMware + M&A business portfolio & Technology platforms to meet the strategic goal of $20B by designing scalable solutions and removing obstacles to current and future transformation initiatives As CRM Domain Architect, you will analyze VMWare business processes and propose end-to-end solutions that are the best fit based on SFDC CRM Platform (Sales Management, Partner Management, Support) & Cloud-Native solutions to accelerate our SaaS transformation journey. Your deep knowledge on various domain expertise in Sales portfolio across configurators, forecasting and sales territory management and sales compensation and insights from industry best practices will enable us to accelerate our Subscription/SaaS Transformation journey. What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for We have a distributed ecosystem of platforms and systems supporting our business goals and operations, the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) brings in various flavours of business models and their systems & platforms. The key goal for a CRM Domain architect is to bridge the gap between business model disruption from the industry, evolving VMware Marketing & GTM strategy and platform/solution choices. This is a hands-on, techno-functional position for someone who can dive deep, understand complex sales and marketing business needs and has the ability to model solutions in a multi-CRM and ERP environment with evolving subscription business models. You will be leading the design and development of CRM business processes and systems and your expertise as an architect in integrating CRM with SAP BRIM and other ERP systems will be one of the key role requirements. Being part of the Architectural Review Board, you will provide guidance and solution to various development teams in different technologies. You will be working with other Business architects and Domain architects in various business domains and help analyse the business needs and come up with scalable technical solutions. You will be solving integration needs and problems through event driven patterns (Synchronous and Asynchronous architectural patterns) with other non-CRM applications. Advocating and architecting solution that would efficiently expose SFDC Function modules as RESTful will be part of the your role. Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing In next 6-12 months it is important to Drive GTM Strategy with insights from best practices from Hi-Tech Industry selling leveraging Marketing, Opportunity Management, Forecasting, CPQ modules for Hardware and Software products via Direct and Chanel Partner. Collaboratively define and drive M&A platform integration strategy and roadmap Accelerate the M&A products to leverage VMware GTM process, systems and data Working closely with product teams, understand latest features, integrate them into the end-to-end business capabilities & standardization. Work with CDTO teams to discover problems, drive product definition, design and prototype to create valuable, desirable and feasible solutions in Marketing and GTM domain. Become a thought leader in Marketing and Sales domain to drive VMware’s digital transformation & SaaS Transformation. Provide direction to development teams for custom solution realization and implementation You will drive blue-printing, planning, design, testing, documentation and execution. Responsible for ensuring the quality of the solution Guide and influence team members to accomplish the team’s technical architecture and solution designs. Driving adoption of newer cutting-edge technology within the organization through knowledge sessions. Work closely with other extended SFDC/SAP SMEs, development teams, Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to ensure success What is the leadership like for this role What is the structure and culture of the team like You will report into the Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture but can expect to interact frequently with the Chief Technology Officer, IT and Enterprise Architects.
