Eaton’s Bussmann division is currently seeking a Cost Accountant Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez facility.
The Cost Accountant Supervisor is responsible for the overall inventory records and the accuracy and integrity of all inventory perpetual balances to include daily inventory transactions.

Some activities related with the position will be:
- Plan, coordinate, and control costing of physical inventories.
- Be responsible for general ledger inventory balances and reconciliation to perpetual records.
- Maintain standard and current costs for products manufactured at plant.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to subordinates, team members, and/or staff in the day-to-day management of cost accounting activities.
- Supervise cost accounting staff which may include recommendations for hiring, promotions, reassignments, work allocation, performance evaluation, training, and problem resolution.
- Oversee the accurate preparation and maintenance of all inventory costing records. Coordinate annual cost rolls between years.
- Coordinate the reconciliation of inventory balances, inventory movements, or changes to inventory costs.
- Respond to inquiries and investigate and resolve problems related to discrepancies between physical inventory balances and amounts in perpetual records.
- Lead, coordinate, and implement perpetual inventory programs (cycle counting) and annual complete physical inventory. Data obtained is reconciled, with adjustments explained and entered timely and accurately.
- Ensure production scrap and any variances from standard costs are accurately reported and understood.
- Participate in the development of departmental goals and objectives; recommend, implement, and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations profitability.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience of financial accounting in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of internal controls and control environments, and a general understanding of accounting systems and their associated controls and control environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory costing, control and reporting principles, methods, techniques, and standards.
- Knowledge of computerized standard cost systems and inventory accounting systems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret cost and systems support requirements and provide consultation and recommendations to plant controller.
- Ability to assess operational requirements and to plan and organized workflow patterns and schedules
