Job Description:
Position Title Configuration Management Consultant
Ttitle IT/Operations Support II
Position Description Responsible for overseeing the CI creation and life cycle of entries into the configuration management database for hardware, software, virtual entities, logical entities, and other parts of the IT environment
Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Training / Certification ITIL Process Knowledge in ITSM, Configuration Mgt. and Certification, PL SQL
Experience 8-10 years experience in computer/technology industry
Min. 5 Years experience in Change and Configuration Management ITIL Process and Tools
Job Profile ” Maintain and enforce configuration management policies and procedures.
Develop best practices to improve integrity and quality of configuration processes.
Provide support in system design, development, testing and implementation activities.
Assist in configuration audits and communicate audit recommendations to Managers
Analyze and troubleshoot configuration problems in a timely manner.
Review and implement configuration changes according to business requirements.
Work closely with development, QA and support teams to complete configurations tasks within deadlines.
Maintain documentations of build processes for future reference purposes.”
Technical Skills ” Experience in ITIL Process and Tools Management
Exposure to Business Applications, IT Infrastructure, Architecture, Interface, DB, Platform
Knowledge on Operating systems (e.g., Windows, UNIX, Linux, etc.) and Database (SQL, Oracle)”
Soft Skill ” Analytical ability and Problem-Solving technique
Good communication and Customer relationship.

Specilist Skill Specilist level position is charted to work with an account’s respective functional domains (e.g., Application Development, Run, Hosting Services, Workplace Services, GDBA, Network, etc.) and Service Transition (e.g., Change Management) to affect the timely and accurate update of uCMDB/Apate. Consultants and Analysts within Configuration Management either escort the update of data or are actually responsible for updating the data. This is a pivotal role within Delivery which oftentimes requires internal, related expertise to perform the activities. As an example, the ideal candidate should be familiar with DXC data points such as a Configuration Item (CI), processes such as IVCC, tools such as the CIA tool and uCMDB/Apate, etc.Looking for candidate who can join within 15 Days time or Immediate Joiners
