Hiring Chartered Accountant for a Leading FMCG Brand Company @ West Bengal

Company Details:With over 80 years of rich experience in FMCG commodity Supply Chain Management, Our Client is among front runners in manufacturing of FMCG Commodities with a strong retail & distribution network in East and Central India

Job Roles: Chartered Accountant (Export)

Location: Kolkata

Roles & Responsibilities:

Accounting:

Manage day-to-day finance operations including book-keeping, invoicing, general ledger scrutiny,

vendor and utility payments

Bank reconciliations

Monthly budgeting and forecasting revenue and expenses

Monthly closing and reporting

Generate financial statements in accordance with Indian GAAP standards

Responsible for effective internal controls

Collaborate with other departments of the company to share best practices, identify gaps

Costing:

Check purchase orders and sending them for approval

Calculate the overhead absorption rates

Verify the cost estimation of projects for placing a quote

Mapping actuals against estimates and tracking variance

Inventory Management:

Oversee correct inward of material, proper issue of material to projects

WIP valuation

Taxation:

Ensure proper TDS deductions as per Income Tax Act for all payments

Make timely TDS payments

Oversee TDS returns filing every quarter

Calculation of advance tax instalments

Filing ITR with 3CA, 3CD and 3CEB

GST:

Filing GSTR – 1 every month (Sales related GST return)

Filing GSTR – 3B every month (GST liability & input credit related return)

Compute and pay GST reverse charge if required

Compare GSTR – 2A and 3B every month to verify that input credits are correctly received

File GST – 9 (annual return)

Export:

Oversee export documentation required for dispatch of consignment

Filing export documents with the Bank (AD Bank) for RBI compliance

Get the RBI compliance up to date by co-ordinating with the AD bank

Check the duty calculations at the time of import and advise duty payment

Obtaining Advance Authorization License whenever required and also the closure of the same

Obtaining EOU license and ensure proper documentation thereafter

Completing the requirements of Export promotion council at regular intervals

Audit:

Plan for the audit process and work with the external auditors for various annual audits viz.

Statutory Audit, Income Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, GST Audit

Compliance of Ministry of Corporate Affairs (co-ordination with CS):

Return of Foreign Assets and Liabilities, annual return filing, MSME reporting

Board resolutions, Minutes of Meeting
