Chief Data Officer is a team involved in performing the Root Cause Analysis of the Data Quality issues raised by Finance teams across various sub functions. As an analyst, you get to talk with many of the middle management members of the bank, where your communication will play a pivotal role

Finance function of CDO (Chief Data Office) is one of the functions within Group CDO umbrella function which works very closely with various business partners including the Data Quality (DQ) issue raisers, business line SMEs, Change functions and IT.
Each member of the team works towards enrichment of the DQ issue received from issue raiser, validate its priority (following ERC Framework), perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and negotiate with various finance functions or non-Finance CDOs (Non CFO CDO) for issue ownership. Post the issue is aligned, it is being followed up for its remediation and closure.
As part of the work, each team member is required to understand the issue from business as well as technical prospective to provide a complete solution for the issue
