Facilitate efficient and effective deployment of new business systems to improve Honeywell business results. You will help define and document customer requirements for deployment of new business applications. You will assist with process redesign to ensure optimization of the functionalities enabled through advanced business applications. You will provide support to users to facilitate rapid adoption of the application, to speed time to value of the new solution capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Job Activities

  • Serve as the primary liaison to the Architecture team to validate the solution architecture along w/ the project team
  • Serve as the primary liaison to the project Product Owner (PO) in the gathering business requirements.
  • Document and prepare business requirements documents (BRDs) that will include business definition of Key Process Indicators (document the logic driving business KPIs and metrics calculations) and visualization insights (i.e. wireframes)
  • Work in conjunction with Technical SMEs to gain business and technical insight in KPI definition, behaviors and processing dependencies
  • Work in conjunction with the PO and Agile Scrum Master defining Epics and/or User Story definitions in Agile/JIRA
  • Assumes ownership of the Product Enhancement Backlog, vetting requirements given by the Product Owner/Product Manager
  • Serve as the functional lead in the UX Mock/wireframe design of visualization dashboard/reports (establish the graphical visualization strategy for each KPI)
  • In conjunction with Business SMEs, define data validation criteria and use cases for user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Organize, in conjunction with the PO, UX design demos and User Acceptance Testing scenarios
  • Conduct/contribute to design overviews/training of Business SMEs/users
  • Assist w/ user adoption and system decommission strategies collecting associated metrics

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business/MIS, Software Engineering or related field
  • 7-10 years of experience as a business analyst/business intelligence analyst or in a related field Exposure with data modeling tools -Tableau, SAP Business Objects or similar; ETL tools such as Informatica or similar
  • Strong understanding of database architecture, database development or database administration
  • Experience using JIRA
  • SAP ECC and data integration/migration experience or knowledge
  • Recent experience working in a project management or business analyst role on data or analytics related projects
