This position will be responsible for carrying out implementations and operational support for Automation Solutions Oracle Applications and Edge Applications combined with deep understanding of Emerson business processes. Role will continually assist business users in carrying out business critical events periodically in Oracle ERP instance for Emerson Automation Solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide daily functional (70%) and technical (30%) support on Oracle EBS and Edge Applications on production environment. Communicates technical guidance and instruction to users on the use of systems and/or applications.
  • Provides first line support for business applications responsible for Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay cycles to ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner in co-ordination with IT teams
  • Performs and provides support of business system migration from legacy system to Oracle, including testing, training, documenting business process/scenarios, assisting in issue troubleshooting and readiness assessment from a Sales office perspective.
  • Works with different teams to identify & implement productivity improvement areas from a business systems perspective.
  • Review Oracle changes as a part of Agile releases. Perform impact analysis for World Area and educate business users on the proposed changes. Develop training material and application documentation on new changes as required.
  • Proven history of successful Implementations and problem solving with a sense of urgency Work with Oracle Technical Support on SR resolution

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Computer Science/Business IT/BE/B. Tech/MCA
  • 5-10 years of support/implementation experience with Oracle EBS in an end user environment.
  • Must have experience in Oracle SCM/Distribution modules (Quoting, Order Management, Purchasing, Shipping execution, Inventory, iProcurement, iSupplier).
  • Excellent proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL. Experience in querying the relational database systems (Oracle 11g, DB2) using SQL.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving & communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Edge applications used in Emerson and their integration with Oracle would be an advantage (Tradesphere, Trax, FF2 etc.,).
  • Worked in MNC environment with experience of working with MEA countries desired.
  • Able to travel on need basis.
