This position is part of a team of analysts that supports the Industrial Sector – Americas and APAC. It’s primarily responsible for delivering and supporting projects, database management and reporting of data related to sales, customers and pricing. This position demands for candidate who can initiate and drive projects which involves analytics and solutions to businesses challenges. An energetic critical thinker, highly analytical and able to interpret meaning from data, skilled in driving process improvements, who demonstrates the drive, business acumen, and people capability to deliver results
This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Manage databases and homegrown tools and identify ways to use existing data in more productive ways.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in the acquisition, analysis, and display of data; and in extraction of information and knowledge from that data in supports decision making to business leaders.
  • Work on process efficiency by automation and smart analytics to remove redundant activities in MPS operation processes.
  • Provide ongoing analytical support to Business Division and various levels of management in the organization related to sales improvement and other issues.
  • Support in making consulting/analysis to business leaders, Finance leaders & sales leaders in sales / engineering processes that builds sophistication in MPS process and overall profitability, which drive sustainable change and enhanced business results
  • Initiate discussion of projects with stakeholder and drive the same. Provide solutions to queries of businesses
  • Support in executing projects of strategic importance in the areas of Sales Management

Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduate in Mathematics, Business, Economics. MBA (Marketing) degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience – manufacturing industry exposure preferred.
  • Statistical and Mathematical Modeling knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Structured approach to Problem solving
  • Business proficiency in the following areas is required:
  • Strong business acumen
  • Understanding of costing concepts and terminology
  • Ability to manage a large amount of transactional data and determine trends up to part number level

with win-loss analysis using statistical and analytical tools.

  • Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency in following areas is required:
  • MS – Access, MS- Excel, Web-Based Tools
  • Microsoft Power BI experience required
