According to the notice released the written prelims exam is of 200 marks, and consists of one section only .i.e, General Knowledge & Current Issues. The prelims exam is the first stage of the recruitment process. The test is two hours time. Check the details in the table below.

  • The written exam is an objective Multiple-choice format.
  • The exam will be a Computer Based Online paper.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for prelims are 30% marks i.e., 60 marks.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.2 Marks for each wrong answer.
  • The Written Exam paper is of 2 hours (120 Minutes).

Bihar Police SI Mains Exam Pattern

According to the notice released the mains exam is of 400 marks, consisting of two sections only .i.e, General Hindi & General Studies. The prelims exam is the second stage of the recruitment process. The test is for four hours’ time. Check the details in the table below.

  • The written exam is an objective Multiple-choice format.
  • The General Hindi is qualifying in nature, every candidate needs to score 30% to qualify.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.2 Marks for each wrong answer.
  • The Written Exam paper is of 4 hours (240 Minutes).
  • Only 6 times the number of vacancies will be called for the PET exam.
