VAM Systems is currently looking for BI – IT Operations Executive for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Skills Required
BS in computer science (MS is a plus)
Telecom experience is a must
At least 3+ years of relevant work experience
At least 5 years of overall IT experience
Good knowledge of Oracle databases & Data warehouse
Fair knowledge of big data technologies
Knowledge of other O/BSS systems in a plus
Responsibilities:
Responsible for day to day IT operations related to data warehouse
Monitoring of the environment to avoid any outages
Data Analysis. Must be comfortable with querying and analyzing large amount of data
Good experience with distributed systems, large scale non-relational data stores, performance tuning, and multi-terabyte data warehouses
Perform extensive data analysis and coordinate with the IT & business teams to develop data models
Develop ETL/SQL code for various environments
Coordinating with other IT teams for debugging and resolving issues
Brainstorm and collaborate with other team members to propose solutions
Working closely with OS & DB teams for various operational tasks
Providing backend data extractions/reports when required
OS/DB level scripting to automate various manual activities if required
Working with vendors for any future upgrades
Documentation of various above-mentioned tasks
9×5 Trouble Ticket Monitoring & Troubleshooting.
Joining time frame: (15 – 30 days)
The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in Bahrain.
