This role is to support the systems used for the calculation of Risk Weighted Assets numbers
FSO service offerings are (1) System Incident Management, (2) User Training and Education, (3) Query Management, (4) Reference Data Management, (5) System Monitoring, (6) Data Integrity / Assurance, (7) Change liaison activities.
The Opportunity:
This role fits as part of a 24 * 7 SME capability, which include:

  • Level 1/2 support of RWA PC to users across the Group
  • Ensuring operational timeline deliverables are met as per the deadlines
  • Ensure that the live issues escalated as and when required
  • Understand stakeholders’ needs, identifying and implementing improvements in a continuous manner from a system & data standpoint
  • Effective communication within the team and with business partners
  • Take accountability and ownership of the tasks and responsibility assigned
  • Professionally handle queries and issues from global users, understand and interpret information and route issues to relevant colleagues
  • Proactively identify issues and escalate with relevant teams

Build strong effective relationships with colleagues, stake holders (Change team, IT & Users)
What you’ll do:

  • The job holder would be responsible for executing all process activities (standard and non-standard).

Business / Function:

  • Troubleshooting user issues, user guidance and knowledge sharing
  • Preparation of SOP’s as per the changes in the business function

Customers / Stakeholders:

    • Ability to Interact and build rapport with customers’ / stake partners
    • Provide additional support on ad hoc activities (UAT)

Teamwork:

    • Effective communication within the team and with cross functional teams/stake partners
    • Take accountability and ownership of the tasks and responsibility assigned

Operational Effectiveness & Control:
Ensures are controls are operated as per the prescribed requirements and evidenced.
Trainings:
Ensures essential training sessions are arranged and provided to the team Qualifications

What you will need to succeed in the role:
· B Com with 7+ years and M Com / MBA with around 3+ years overall experience in Finance / Finance Systems.
· Experience in BASEL II Reporting requirements and BASEL II System teams
· Exposure to Accounting, Financial Systems Support, Systems Development and Project Management.
· High level of analytical skills and ability to grasp complicated functions in short period of time and transfer knowledge appropriately and document / test as necessary to meet SOX standards.
· Technical expertise of VB and Macros. (optional)
· Excellent communication skills and Interpersonal skills.
· Excellent MS Excel skills
· Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines
· Sound problem solving, planning & organizing skills
· Self-motivated and good team player
· Robust experience in planning and organizing work in a global environment
· Should be flexible to stretch at work across shifts

  • Understanding and interpreting data calculations and validation within the application.
  • Evidencing a proactive approach – it is fundamental for this role that all stakeholders are kept informed of the progress of issues raised towards resolution
  • Focusing on the delivery of an excellent support function and surpassing user expectations
