Key responsibilities
Financial and Management Reporting
Ensure entity / BU HFM reporting is accurate and in line with appropriate standards (review controller books, perform monthly controlling checks).
Assist entities with reporting queries.
Review monthly controller checklist for assigned entities/ BU’s.
Controlling for assigned countries (ensure all entities have reported and that mismatches are understood and documented).
Balance sheet analysis (review and consolidation of BU submissions).
Provide input to monthly management report (consolidate input from BU’s, prepare PowerPoint slides and assist with analysis)
Managing and assisting internal and external AUDITS
Provide input to quarterly performance review (consolidate input from BU’s, prepare PowerPoint slides and assist with analysis).
Adhoc tasks and analysis
Risk and Controls
Promote the principles of good accounting practices, and ensure compliance with documented internal controls.
We are looking for
Skills and Job Knowledge
Preferably Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of core reporting and accounting experience.
Knowledge of accounting policies, including international accounting standards
Knowledge of Management Accounting
Prior financial accounting (GL) & reporting experience of one year
Knowledge of HFM would be an added advantage
Analytical & Problem Solving ability for trouble shooting
Excellent communication skills (English) – Fluent Oral & Written
Flexible to work in any shift, i.e. morning, afternoon or night
Technical Skill
Computer literate (Windows) & Strong MS Excel skills (v-lookup, Pivots, Complex formulae)
and MS PowerPoint
Analytical & Problem Solving ability for trouble shooting
Prior experience in ERP systems
