The intended role is to implement and manage project management and participate in the development of long term strategy for the future direction of Technology team.

The Project Management Officer (PMO) would be required to work closely with the Head of Technology and Leads across India and globally to standardize project management processes, tools, techniques and templates.
The PMO will maintain a repository for project proposals, plans, status reports and change requests. By overseeing multiple IT projects, s/he ensures the projects comply with standards.
S/He also improves project management capabilities in the organization by providing training, mentoring and coaching to personnel to increase their competence and skills.
Additionally, the PMO would conducts post-project reviews to document the lessons learned and continuously improve the IT project management process.

- Program Charter Provides an overall vision of the program goals and objectives to the team members.
- Work Plans Lay down detailed schedules of activities, milestones, and deliverables of the project team, and identifies the resources available.
- Governance Plan Identifies the roles and responsibilities of each member of the project team.
- Work Breakdown Structure Defines the specific deliverables due from each team, at each stage of the project.
- Communication Plan Establishes the protocol, procedure, and methods to communicate project information and issues among members of the team.
- Forms and Templates Simplify communication, record-keeping and reporting.
- Risk Analysis Lists out potential problems and chances of deviance from the project methodology, the probability of such occurrences, the possible impact, and possible solutions.

- Innovation, Flexibility and Adaptability – Undertake tasks with a positive attitude and respond well to management and client requests. Working locations may include a variety of GEP and client sites. Must be prepared to meet business goals and respond well to change.
What you should bring
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience leading multiple teams across multiple products and geographies.
- At least 5 years project management experience, in a role that requires involvement and understanding of business activities.
- Analytical Thinking – Effective at acquiring an understanding of a problem or situation, and developing an approach to interacting with the situation.
- Strategic Perspective – Needs to keep overall objectives and strategies in mind, and not be deflected by matters of detail.
- Applying standards – Effective in the application of relevant industry and process standards to all tasks undertaken.
- Industry Developments – Must take initiative to ensure technical skills and specialisations are kept.
- Up to date in line with industry developments and ensure that all relevant skill sets are current.
