  1. System

Organize and monitor environment related SOPs and its implementation For smooth operations with complying all the legal requirements

  • Close monitoring of environment related parameters.
  • Ensure that Environment parameters as Standard Requirements (within process limits).
  • Implement corrective actions to mitigate the environment abnormalities
  • Ensure Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures & Work Instructions at the work place.
  • Ensure that the concerned department carry out all Environment monitoring as per Schedule

Carry out Environment practices and work plans through Complying the statutory requirements through continual improvements

  • Ensure the adherence to applicable statutory & regulatory compliances
  • Standard Waste Disposal as per waste management plan are adhered
  • Ensure that the awareness to employees about working encompassing Eco-Friendly Environment Processes are practiced as per schedule
  • Taking corrective actions on environmental parameters and regularly monitoring the results.
  • Strictly adhering to IMS systems.

Coordinate and Implement EHS compliance related actions within time frame for zero non-conformance

  • Providing updated Environment regulations to managers through training programs and interaction with individuals
  • Coordinating with the concerned department by extending internal and external help to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure all compliances are up to date.
  • Liasoning with the Pollution control board officials,
  • Hazardous waste management.
  • Coordinating environmental improvement projects
  • Shifting of hazardous waste to the authorized locations as approved Karnataka State Pollution Control Board.
  • Checks that all environment standards are met in storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Ensure compliance of all statutory requirements of KSPCB, CPCB, MOEF, License etc.
  • Natural resources conservations measure across the plant.
  • Preparation, Submission and record updating of legal documents concerned to Environment

  • 4.Management Programmes & Action Plans: Guide, audit and monitor departmental action plans for EMP, achieve continual improvement in the standards of safety & environment in the departments
  • Plan annual EMP (Environment Management Program)
  • Action to implement the targeted EMP and
  • Review EMP
  • To support CA and VAPS during environmental standard implementation process.
  • To carry out Internal Environment Audit of plants.

  • 5.Training & Development: Execute and monitor Environment annual training calendar
  • To put in place need based Environment training Plan
  • Impart trainings on Environment System Related concepts like: Aspect Impact, Waste Management, Environment Related OCPs

  • 6.Environment System: Facilitate & execute EHS awareness campaign & motivational programs to inculcate a sustainable & safe work culture
  • Ensure the maintenance of environment related parameters as per company’s & applicable statutory & Regulatory Requirements (within process limits).
  • Oversee the implementation of corrective actions to remove environment deviations
  • Implementation & Monitoring of AIA & Waste Management at the work place.
  • Coordinate with instrumentation department to carry out all scheduled instrument calibration activities.
  • Ensure that all environment related submissions and returns are timely made.
  • To guide in Laboratory analysis for KSPCB prescribed physical and chemical parameters of effluent, ambient air, process & flue gas stack

Qualifications:
Master Of Science,Master in Environmental Sci.
Minimum Experience Level:
10-12 Years
