Assam Police Recruitment 2023- Vacancy Details

A total of 1150 vacancies have been released through Assam Police Recruitment out of which 222 vacancies are for Excise Constable Post and 928 vacancies for Grade IV Staff ((Barber, Water Carrier, Electrician, Cook & Other Posts).

Assam Police Recruitment 2023-Educational Qualification

• Excise Constable: HSLC or Equivalent
• Grade IV Staff: 8th Class/HSSLC

Physical Standards (Excise Constable)

Height (Minimum):

• General/ OBC/ MOBC/ SC: Male – 162.56 cm, Female-154.94 cm
• ST(H)/ST(P): Male – 160.2 cm, Female – 152.40 cm

Weight: Proportionate to height as per Medical Standard.

Chest (Only for Men): 

• For Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC /ST(P), etc: Normal – 80 Cm, Expanded – 85 Cm
• For ST(H): Normal – 78 Cm, Expanded – 83 Cm

Medical Standards:

• Eye Sight: The distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction. Near vision should be normal.

Physical Standards (Grade IV Staff)

Height (Minimum):

• General/ OBC/ MOBC/ SC: Male -160 cm, Female-150 cm
• ST(H)/ST(P): Male -158 cm, Female-147.5 cm

Chest (Only for Men): 

• For Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC /ST(P) etc: Normal-80 Cm, Expanded-85 Cm
• For ST(H): Normal-77 Cm, Expanded-82 Cm

Medical Standards:

• The distant vision should be 6/6
