Job Description
Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) runs the Oracle software that runs Oracle. OAL is responsible for implementing, running, and improving nearly all of Oracle%26#39;s Enterprise Applications: CRM, HCM, Financials, SCM, you name it. We use Oracle%26#39;s own real-life business requirements as a %26quot;test bed%26quot; for innovation. We often race out ahead of standard product and build extensions and custom applications to meet the needs of our 100,000-employee, Fortune 100 company. Once proven, our ideas and innovations quickly find their way back into core product. We also ensure that Oracle is always Oracle%26rsquo;s best reference for our enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:

  • Work with Development teams to understand the new capabilities and assist in resolving the product gaps and enhance the product to better meet the business needs.
  • Implementation/Customization/Coding extensions/Support of Oracle fusion applications.
  • Development will be on JAVA spring boot framework based on Micro services architecture.
    -%26gt; The candidate should be willing to learn the architecture and lead the developers to transform the design into development.
    -%26gt; The candidate should be open to work in the capacity of Individual contributor and build the custom applications/Integrations in JAVA.
  • Make use of cutting edge technologies to transform on premise applications to Cloud.
    -%26gt; Candidate should be willing to learn and work on tech stack that supports Oracle fusion development like Application Composer, BPM, Object workflow, Page composer, FBDI %26amp; Groovy Expressions etc..
  • Partner with the business to define Business best Practices, analyze specific business problems and find the solution.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing on new products and releases.
  • Perform Proof of concepts for the fusion application and evaluate the need for integration with external systems.
  • Should be open to learn and work on new cutting edge technologies that suit the business needs.
  • Develop and share the best practice/technical/process documents.
  • Should be able to drive the design meetings with business and the other OAL teams and help the developers to understand the functionality.
  • Candidate should be willing to work as individual contributor and lead/manage a development team when the situation demands.

Desired Skill set:

  • BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/ME degree from reputed institutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in Implementing/Supporting the Oracle CRM/ERP or any other ERP applications. Experience in Service contracts (or) Install base is preferable (not mandatory) since the hiring is for OAL IB%26amp;OKS team.
  • Candidate should be skilled in JAVA backend development and open to learn any new framework required to build the custom applications.
  • Should have thorough knowledge on Order To Cash lifecycle and the flow between several systems.
  • Should be experienced in any of the Oracle tech stack – SQL, PLSQL (or) Java.
  • Should have solid experience in building the applications and integrating them with various applications in Oracle ERP.
  • Experience in SOAP/ REST Web Services.
  • Experience in any cloud transformation project is not mandatory but an added advantage.
  • Should be willing to adopt the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology as the best practice and work in Agile projects.
  • Looking for a senior developer who is highly experienced in evaluating %26amp; understanding the severity of the issues / product gaps and bridge them by driving the team of developers.
  • Should have mentored the peers (or) junior resources and help them understand the architecture and functionality of the product.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
