Responsibilities and Scope Impact / Scope The Functional Application Support Analyst is accountable for ongoing deep functional Finance support activities by domain related to the availability and integrity of financial information, transactions, and data across Mega Process areas (P2P, R2R, O2C). Collaborates with Functional teams, key business partners, and stakeholders on new requirements to deliver against their objectives and support them to achieve business outcomes through optimized process solutions. Support the implementation of new corporate-wide accounting processes / systems updates (including process development, process implementation, process maintenance, and communication procedures) and support new projects / transitions. Participate in training and mentoring programs, develop knowledge and expertise across the different mega process areas and domains. Design, develop and maintain SharePoint sites for the Finance organization, support business requests for enhancement and maintenance of existing Share Point sites

Responsibilities Analyze the requirements from business and design the Share point site, ensure the theme, structure, styling followed is inline with existing governance set for Share Point Optimize existing designs and report gaps in current design and propose best fit solutions to address gaps and improve the overall Share Point site experience for all consumers Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Information Technology and process delivery teams to ensure finance systems are operating and closed as per the accounting calendar Provide support for resolution of Finance transactional and reference data issues related to finance processes including but not limited to General Ledger, Master Data, Reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Expense, Procurement, etc. in a timely manner Support to review and ensure that business testing and validation of systems for releases, enhancements, process changes, etc. is done in a timely manner working closely with IT Delivery Schedule Support collection of data for KPI / SLA reporting providing Financial Reports and guidance on KPI / SLA measurements Provide support to IT delivery teams during process / system stabilisation Support the Business Analyst to help execute all aspects of the IT lifecycle to deliver design change initiatives, meeting dynamically changing deliverables, while coordinating with the Functions, Business, and IT to drive UAT, Deployment, and Stabilization. Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential. Required Skills and Experience Education and Experience First level university degree with a focus in Computer Science; advanced degree strongly preferred. Experience working for a global company of alike and complexity 4-6 years of extensive experience with Microsoft Technologies in IT industry Experienced Developer in SharePoint site development & maintenance Experience with full life cycle application development, which has included, requirements gathering, analysis, conceptual design, configuration, coding, development, testing, deployment, etc. In depth understanding of the SDLC with strong technical skills in frameworks like Office 365, SharePoint 2013 Strong desire and aptitude to analyze and understand business logics, with the intent of translating them into software applications. Proven client communication, documentation, writing code, management, and presentation skills Working knowledge of creating and consuming REST API Good knowledge on power automation flows Knowledge of power apps is extra advantage HTML, CSS, Java Script, jQuery, Bootstrap, D3or any other chart libraries working knowledge Should have used share point lists as backend for storing and retrieving data Experienced Developer in SharePoint site development & maintenance Experience with full life cycle application development, which has included, requirements gathering, analysis, conceptual design, configuration, coding, development, testing, deployment, etc. Experienced in customizing SharePoint Sites, SharePoint Lists Features, Custom Workflows, Workflows and Document Libraries using SharePoint Object Model programming. Good knowledge on power automation flows Experience in managing processes and transactions in the area of Finance supporting systems (NetSuite, Concur or similar enterprise financial system). Direct relevant experience working in a Captive SSC / Business Process Outsourcing Organizations will be desired (in addition to years of experience / qualification) Knowledge and experience in below areas is added advantage

Knowledge of WSS is extra advantage

Knowledge and Skills

Essential:

  • Experienced in SharePoint development and Customizations
  • Experienced in basic web building tools like HTML, CSS, JS
  • Proficient understanding of services delivered by Finance teams such as P2P and R2R
  • Strong understanding of ERP and Enterprise Finance system (NetSuite or similar)
  • Experience of supporting senior onshore leads and users through daily/hourly interactions.
  • Flexibility to support different time-zones and geographies with coverage availability for event based activities (i.e. month end close).
  • Flexibility to travel across geographies.
  • Proficient communication skills; ability to clearly articulate expectations and outcomes with various levels of management, both in Finance and across Businesses.
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
  • Flexibility to learn functional areas and address support requests

Other:

  • Experience in supporting transition of support activities for finance processes (as mentioned above) from different geographies
  • Process improvement ideas for effective task management within deadlines, in shared service environment
  • Proficient business acumen and analytical skills (MIS reporting)
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decision in situation requiring trade-off
  • Self-motivator with the ability and confidence to work independently and to strict deadlines
  • Excellent team player, enthusiastic, innovative and proactive
