The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) issued the DSSSB Notification 2023 on August 4, 2023, for 1841 TGT, PGT, and other positions. Steps to apply on DSSSB Online
You can visit the official site www.dsssbonline.nic.in and then follow the simple steps to apply.
Step 1: Registration or DSSSB Login
For candidates who have never applied for any DSSSB recruitment before, you must register to get the login id and password.
- Click on the “Click for New Registration” button to register online.
- Enter your date of birth, roll number of class 10th, and class 10th passing year
- Click on Submit
- Enter name, parent’s or spouse’s name, gender, nationality, mobile number, email ID, and registration password.
- Click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page
- Click on Submit
- Note down the registration number and password provided to you.
- Click on Proceed.
Step 2: Application Form of DSSSB
For candidates who already have their registration number and password, you must fill the application form now.
- Enter registration number, password, and code visible on the screen
- Click on Sign in
- Click on the Apply tab
- Click on Apply Now button of the post for which application needs to be filled
- Enter present and permanent address
- Select category
- Click on the Declaration checkbox
- Click on Submit
- Upload scanned images of photo, signature, left thumb impression, and right thumb impression as per the specifications.
Step 3: Scanning and Uploading of Photograph and Signature
Before applying online the candidate will be asked to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below.
Photograph Image:
- The photograph must be a recent passport size color picture and clearly showing the face.
- Make sure that the picture is in bright color, taken against a light-colored, preferably white, background.
- Allowed Photo Size – 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
- The size of the file should be between 25kb-100 kb.
- Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 100KB.
Signature Image
a. The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink/ Gel pen.
b. The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
c. Dimensions 3.5 cm x 1.5cm (preferred).
d. Size of the file should be between ( 10KB – 50KB).
Procedure for Uploading the Photograph and Signature
a. There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature.
b. Click on the respective link “Upload Photograph / Signature”.
c. Browse and Select the location where the Scanned Photograph / Signature file has been
saved.
d. Select the file by clicking on it.
e. Click the ‘Upload’ button.

DSSSB Online Application Form: Important Points to Remember
- Candidates must ensure to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post they are applying for before applying for the exam.
- Candidates must keep all the necessary documents ready before starting with the application process.
- Application forms containing incorrect information are liable to get rejected.
- Documents must be uploaded as per the prescribed specifications only to avoid rejection of the application form.
DSSSB Age Limit
The age limit for DSSSB exams varies according to the post applied. The age limit for some of the posts are given below:
- All PGT Posts: 36 Years
- All TGT Posts: 32 Years
- For Group B and C Posts: 27-32 Years
- For Music Teacher Posts: 32 Years
- All PRT Posts: 30 years
- For AE and JE: 27-32 Years
- For all Other Posts: 30 Years
Age relaxation will be applicable for the reserved categories as follows:

DSSSB Selection Process
- The selection for DSSSB Non-teaching posts shall be made either through the One Tier or Two Tier examination scheme and Skill Test according to the post applied by the candidate.
- Negative Marking will be relevant and a deduction of 0.25 marks will be done for each wrong MCQ answer.
- The questions asked in the exam will be bilingual (Hindi & English) in nature except for the Language papers which will be in the language concerned only.
- Candidates applying for more than one postcode may have to appear for the examinations of two or more different postcodes on the same day and candidates shall have to opt to take the examination of anyone postcode only.
- In posts where Two Tier examinations will be conducted, the Tier I exam will be used for shortlisting only. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of marks obtains in the Tier II Examination.
DSSSB Admit Card
- DSSSB admit card can be downloaded 10-12 days before the exam by visiting the official website.
- The exam centers for holding the examination will be in Delhi/NCR only.
- The candidates must carry the Aadhaar Card or any other Govt. issued identity proof to the examination centre, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
