Job Purpose

Job Purpose
- The candidate would be responsible to set up the framework for the Payments & Settlement reconciliation for the Credit Card business, and to ensure a robust control environment is set up around the same.
- Needs to identify the risk & control issues through continuous monitoring & reconciliation.
- The said candidate needs to collaborate with various stake holders on matter of reconciliation methodology and control aspects for seamless functioning of the unit.
- Excellent communication & analytical skills with strong data analytic capabilities.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Responsible for setting up the framework for the Payments & Settlement reconciliation for the Credit Card business.
- Thorough understanding of each Business Events and the related Financial Transactions and their accounting entries.
- Thorough understanding of the settlement flows.
- Understanding of the dispute resolution mechanism for a credit card including chargebacks and dispute handling.
- Understanding of creation of Workflows to ensure quick investigation of identified discrepancies.
- Understanding and ability to configure match rules to handle matching scenarios.
- Expertise in Chargeback and Reconciliation Management with knowledge of associations including Visa, Master Card and AMEX.
- Responsible for setting up the Governance framework with regards to Credit Cards.
Experience
Essential
- Prior experience in in handling Credit Card Reconciliations.
Desirable
- Experience of min 10-12 years in any various Credit Card Operations processing roles.
- Experience in conduction UAT%26rsquo;s and having experience of leading projects on automation.
