Client is a MNC in Tier1 Autoparts manufacturer.**Job description** * Interpret engineering Bill of Material to gather cost data and factors affecting cost i.e., schedules, labor and burden rates, productivity, commodity pricing etc. * Engaging with key business stakeholders to understand the business challenges and offer possible solutions. * Determine and / or validate product costs, recommended selling prices, payback analysis, and various financial ratios * Develop, prepare and analyze financial analysis for optimized proposals and quotes to support new business growth. * Coordinate and optimize cost information between engineering, purchasing, sales, product line and finance departments. * Interact with product line, sales, engineering, manufacturing and the customer relative to product costing. * Review Business Award and work with Program Development Team during the life of the program and support the required financial analysis. * Analyze data relative to competitors cost positions in order to provide market feedback to sales. * Conducts special studies related to market trends, competitor pricing, lost business analysis, and standard costing. * Analyze and reviews cost structures and overhead rates from manufacturing plants for consistency and reasonableness. * Prepare financials to support Capital Appropriations Request**The Right Candidate** * Minimum 5 years of work experience in the automotive industry and at least 2 years experience in quoting and cost estimating in support of new business pursuits * Manufacturing experience a plus * Experience in creating and delivering presentations and reports using data processing tool i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
