Amazon continues to innovate on behalf of its customers and develop new products to help transform lives of its customers. IN CS Consumer tech team is working on a first-of-its-kind product that will transform the landscape of on-demand work in India. The vision entails building a full-fledged product from scratch for the India market, and then customize it for other OUs.
As a lead UX Designer for the project, you will help shape the overall product. In a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you’ll drive UX design from early-stage concepts all the way through final delivery and launch. You’ll work closely with Product management, Engineering, and executive leadership across Customer Service and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present a strong rationale for design decisions
  • Create user-centered designs by considering market segment analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings
  • Use business requirements and customer research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements
  • Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences.
  • Quickly and iteratively create interaction flows, wireframes, and visual design mock-ups throughout the design process
  • Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns.
  • Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and Amazon executives for review and feedback

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor/master’s degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related UX degree
  • At least 5 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar UX-related role
  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience creating user-centered design solutions is a requirement for application
  • Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
  • Strong track record of iterative design, working closely with customers and peers and developers from inception through implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UX design for complex workflows
  • Past experience in designing and launching new v1 consumer products
  • Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) is a big plus.
  • Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, & CSS will be a plus.

Salary: INR 15,00,000 – 20,00,000 PA.
