The Role Responsibilities

  • Develop reports through business intelligence tooling (Tableau dashboards) focused on answering key business questions.
  • Incorporate advanced Tableau functionality into dashboards including: parameters to change dashboard layouts, level of detail calculations, sets, dual axis charts, and dashboard actions.
  • Present dashboards and ad hoc analyses to key stakeholders in order to increase adoption and understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and business drivers.
  • Enable self-service reporting through development and training of our dashboards.
  • Own the data quality assurance process through adoption of proper data hygiene efforts, potentially leading to services operations-certified data delivery.
  • Consult with stakeholders to define standard reporting requirements, and work with Services Operations and IT to implement changes and enhancements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and data owners to gather data as required to enable reporting and analysis needed by key stakeholders.
  • Understand fundamentals of data preparation/data modelling necessary for the visualization purpose.
  • Automate and build new reports that will cater to all functions/teams including senior management
  • Build analytical reports that provide insight into the process in addition to the daily, weekly and monthly reports

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor%26#39;s degree in mathematics, statistics, marketing, computer science or Engineering.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Tableau, data analysis, statistics, or data modelling.
  • Recent experience using Tableau Desktop/Creator to build interactive dashboards using advanced calculated fields like level of detail calculations and parameter or set actions.
  • Recent experience building Tableau Server data sources and publishing content to Tableau Server or Online
  • Experience with business intelligence, SQL, and statistical analysis tools
  • Good spreadsheet skills with proven experience managing large data sets and performing analysis
  • Good communication skills to share and present dashboards with global services teams and leadership
  • Agile Methodology (User Stories, Epics, Tasks)
  • Experience on any ETL tool preferably SSIS is a plus.
  • Should have strong SQL skills, preferably over SQL Server. Strong Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.
