Job Description
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
.u2022 Understands product strategy, market, industry, and client goals.
u2022 Works with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories.
u2022 Articulates product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams.
u2022 Manages backlog of user stories for one or more products.
u2022 Establishes user story acceptance criteria, accepts user stories, refines stories with Scrum teams.
u2022 Reviews and provides feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.
u2022 Creates Sprint Release Plans with input from development teams.
u2022 Monitors the development progress and provides updates to stakeholders, as requested.
u2022 Applies Agile methods and processes to promote a disciplined project management process that encourages frequent inspection and adaptation of ongoing work product.
u2022 Leads planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements.
u2022 Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection.
u2022 Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc.
u2022 Identifies and documents business strategies, objectives and drivers.
u2022 Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics, and identifies improvement opportunities.
u2022 Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.
u2022 Re-engineers processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
u2022 Reports and reviews testing results.
u2022 Trains internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems or new procedures. Conducts one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the or desire of the audience.
u2022 May mentor, guide, advise and/or check the work of less experienced business systems analysts.
u2022 Considers business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
u2022 Other related duties assigned as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bacheloru2019s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Masteru2019s degree desirable.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
u2022 An understanding or interest in Distributed Ledger technologies
Knowledge of FISu2019 products and services
u2022 Knowledge of financial services industry
u2022 Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
u2022 Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
u2022 Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients
u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Advanced professional role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency. Develops large and/or complex solutions that require analysis and research. Works on multiple projects as the subject matter expert. Works on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Coaches and mentors junior business systems analysts. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires six or more years of demonstrated business systems analysis experience with at least one project as the business systems analyst lead on a u201Clargeu201D project, i.e., a project with duration of more than 6,000 hours or spanning more than 4 months.
